Our Mission
To uplift families in need by providing essential clothing while nurturing a spirit of community and compassion.

The Reality
Many families face challenges in accessing proper clothing for themselves and their loved ones. Whether for everyday wear or special occasions, the lack of appropriate attire can impact dignity and well-being.

Our Goal
We aim to serve at least 100 families within the local community of Douala, Cameroon, through our biannual clothing drives. By offering high-quality, cleaned, and pressed clothing, we help families meet their immediate needs while promoting sustainability and empowerment.

What your dollars can do

A donation of $25.00 provides a bag of food that feeds a family of 7 for 10 days.
A donation of $100.00 provides new equipment for the school technology lab.
A donation of $445.00 provides school tuition, textbooks, uniforms and supplies for 1 child for a school year.
A donation of $1,000.00 provides 5% of the total cost to build a clean water well to benefit a village of 5,000 residents.

The 44.5 Foundation proudly organizes a biannual clothing drive at the Bonaberi Central Mosque, which has become a cornerstone of our efforts in the Douala, Cameroon community. This initiative not only provides essential clothing but also fosters hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging among those we serve.

At each event, beneficiaries have the opportunity to select from a variety of cleaned and carefully pressed clothing, ensuring options that suit every family member. Over the years, this highly anticipated event—lasting 2 to 3 hours—has allowed us to support more than 100 families with high-quality clothing and household items.
