THROUGH FOOD DRIVES

INVESTING IN FAMILIES TO CREATE A LASTING IMPACT OF CHANGE
A SMALL ACT OF GENEROSITY CHANGES A LIFE FOREVER
Our mission is simple – help feed families as they intentionally grow spiritually.
The reality is there are a number of families who do not have enough food to properly break fast. We are here to help those families in need.
Our goal is to serve at least 100 families within the local community of Cameroon, Africa. With your help, we can achieve our goal!
Within a minimum of $25.00, we can feed a family of 7.
Each family will receive a 44.5 Grocery Bag with food to last at least 1 week.

What your dollars can do
Cameroon faces multiple crises, including armed violence in the country’s far north and English-speaking regions, as well as severe climate shocks. These challenges have displaced 1.5 million people, forcing them to live as refugees or internally displaced individuals.
In response, the 44.5 Foundation organizes bimonthly food drives to support those enduring these hardships. Held at the Bonaberi Muslim Chief’s Compound, the events attract large, hopeful crowds. Each drive provides essential items such as 5kg bags of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1kg of pasta, and a pack of sugar to families in need.
For the past four years, the Foundation has consistently supported nearly 90 families through these initiatives, fostering strong bonds between its staff and the community. Additionally, we celebrate annually during the Muslim holidays of Eid Al-Adha, also known as “The Feast of the Lamb,” and Ramadan, further strengthening our connection with the community and its traditions.
Madame Zulay Oumarou, the Field Coordinator, begins each event with a heartfelt prayer, thanking donors for their unwavering support and dedication. The donation process is often deeply emotional, reflecting the profound impact of these efforts, even with modest resources.
Your donation can save the lives of children and their families. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference!
