OUR FOUNDERS
Conroy Campbell - Founder and Executive Director
Conroy Campbell is a humanitarian, technology executive, entrepreneur, mentor, and youth coach committed to creating opportunities for others.
Raised by a single mother and never knowing his father, Conroy learned early the power of sacrifice, perseverance, and education. At thirteen years old, a visit to Haiti exposed him to extreme poverty and inspired a lifelong desire to help underserved children and families. Nelson Mandela’s example of courage, equality, and service further shaped his approach to leadership and community engagement.
With more than 40 years of technology leadership and decades of youth coaching and mentorship, Conroy has dedicated his life to helping organizations and young people grow.
An act of compassion in Cameroon eventually became the 44.5 Foundation—a mission supporting education, youth development, technology access, food assistance, clean water, and community partnerships in the United States and internationally.
Conroy believes success is measured not only by what we accomplish for ourselves, but also by the opportunities we create for others. That belief remains at the heart of the 44.5 Foundation and the legacy he hopes to leave.
“Empowering communities through mentorship, innovation, and giving back.”
Ahmed Che Siewe - Co-Founder and President, Cameroon Chapther
Over the past five years, the 44.5 Foundation has become a steady source of support for communities in Cameroon, West Africa. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the relief, gratitude, and hope our work brings—where food is essential and quality education is scarce.
What began as a simple desire to help has grown into a movement that uplifts families, restores dignity, and reminds communities they are not forgotten. Each encounter reinforces that true impact isn’t just in numbers, but in the lives we touch.
The Foundation is more than support—it’s a symbol of possibility.
“I am dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those I encounter.”
Lead with Purpose. Create Real Impact.
Real change begins with a choice—to care, to step forward, and to make a difference. At the 44.5 Foundation, every action matters, and every moment of service moves us closer to something greater.
We believe change starts with a single decision to show up with purpose and commit to making an impact. Every board member, every volunteer, and every contribution represents a step toward something bigger than ourselves. Here, your time, your voice, and your commitment truly matter.
The 44.5 Foundation is more than an organization—it is a movement driven by purpose, unity, and a shared belief that stronger communities are built by those willing to lead with heart. Together, we are not just responding to challenges—we are creating opportunity, inspiring hope, and shaping a future where everyone has the chance to thrive.
Meet our Volunteers Team
Every act of service creates a ripple of impact. Our volunteers are changemakers who bring our mission to life—showing up, giving back, and making a difference where it matters most. From our local communities to our dedicated volunteers in Cameroon and beyond, their commitment reflects the heart of 44.5 Foundation’s global reach.
Whether supporting programs on the ground, mentoring individuals, or helping deliver critical resources, our volunteers play a vital role in expanding our impact across borders. Their efforts strengthen communities, build meaningful connections, and inspire a shared purpose that unites us all.
Together, they are not just supporting a mission—they are helping build a movement of service, empowerment, and lasting change.
Driven by service. United by purpose. Our volunteers make meaningful change possible in the communities we serve.
