FOCUS AREAS

WHY WE EXIST

Millions of people continue to face hunger, limited access to education, and a lack of clean water. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and the resources to build a better future.

The 44.5 Foundation was created because lasting change requires more than charity—it requires opportunity, partnership, and long-term investment in communities. Together, we are empowering lives, strengthening families, and creating sustainable solutions that make a lasting impact.

Nelson Mandela’s Inspiration

Nelson Mandela’s life has been a guiding influence on my journey and the vision behind the 44.5 Foundation. His resilience, humility, and commitment to serving others showed that true leadership is measured by the lives we uplift. Inspired by his belief that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” we are committed to creating opportunities through education, food assistance, clean water, youth development, and community outreach. Every program we support reflects our belief that compassion, service, and unity can transform lives and build stronger communities for generations to come.

“You can start changing our world for the better daily, no matter how small the action

Voices of Hope

Lydia Food Drive

“Every time when we organize these donation drives, it is truly a labor of love. I cannot thank the people at 44.5 Foundation enough for allowing me to join them to bring so much relief to so many. Special thanks to Mr Conroy and Mr Ahmed for loving our people the way he does!”

Ma Evelyne Food Drive

“Nobody bothers about ever asking me what my Christmas wishes are. When Miss Zulay came calling about the donation I was not sure what to think. I thank God for the food I’ve received today because they will be front and center for the holidays for my husband and children.”

Zulay Food Drive

“We, the less privileged, are used to people making promises and not keeping them. It’s refreshing to see an NGO that actually keeps to its word of doing a food drive monthly. May Allah bless all your hard work.”
